How This Site Makes Money, and What It Will Not Say

The money is stated in plain language, and so is the list of claims no amount of it buys.

This is the full version of the notice that sits at the top and foot of every page. It states the commercial relationship, the research-use stance, and the complete list of things this site refuses to publish. Nothing here is hidden behind a toggle or set in smaller type than the body.

How this site makes money

This site earns a commission when a reader buys from Peptara Labs after following a link from here. That is the whole of the arrangement, and it is the only affiliate-partner relationship on the site. Peptara Labs is a partner we trust. Links to that supplier are marked in the page markup as commercial, and links to any reference or government page are not, because marking a reference as an affiliate-partner link would be a false statement about the relationship.

This page states the relationship, not the arithmetic. There is no rate, tier or term published here, because none is set out to publish, and a disclosure that invents one is not more honest, it is just more specific about something it does not know. The standard this notice follows is the Federal Trade Commission endorsement guidance.

What no amount of money buys here

No seller pays to appear in the table, and no payment moves a row. Rows sit in the order the results were recorded, which is mechanical and unpaid. The supplier this site earns on is scored on the same columns as every other source, in public, and it comes up blank in one of them rather than being quietly exempted.

A table that hides its own money link in the one column where that link looks worse is the exact pattern this site is written against. So the link is not hidden. It is in the table, under the same headings, with its blank cell intact. Back to the recorded set.

Research use only

This site reports what a document states and what published research describes, and it stops at that line. No page translates a document into a recommendation. No page addresses a reader's own situation. No page describes an outcome, a benefit, a result or a purpose for either compound, because that is not what a reading of labels produces.

The materials described are sold for laboratory research use and are not approved medicines. Where a regulatory or compliance statement belongs to the supplier, it is reported as that supplier's own statement and paraphrased into this site's voice rather than copied word for word.

What this site will not say

The excluded list is as much a part of the site as anything it publishes. None of the following appears anywhere on this site, for money or for any other reason:

  • A definition of the status token, because there is no source it will cite for one.
  • Any explanation of what either compound is or does, or any mechanism.
  • Any duration or half-life, or any comparison of duration between the two label forms.
  • Any amount, vial size, split between components, ratio in any notation, or schedule.
  • Any price, from Peptara Labs or from any recorded seller.
  • Any best verdict, ranking, score or star for any seller, including the one it links.
  • Any statement about legality, import or personal possession.
  • Any rating of its own, in copy or in structured data.
  • Any claim about what a marketplace listing actually contains.
  • Any claim to have opened this product's certificate, which is described only as published and linked.
  • Any guarantee figure other than sixty days counted from delivery. A longer figure that survives in one stale machine file is not used here.

Where one of these would ordinarily go, this site leaves a gap and names it. To read what the site is and who does the reading, see what this site is.
